1. Data processed by the extension

When you initiate a capture, the extension temporarily accesses the visible content of the active tab to scroll the page, identify a selected region or element, and generate a screenshot. A screenshot may contain personal or sensitive information visible on the page, so please review it before saving, copying, or sharing it.

The following data may be stored in extension-managed browser storage:

• Up to 12 recent screenshots and their thumbnails;
• The source page URL, used for screenshot history and filenames;
• Your Chinese or English language preference;
• The screenshot currently open in the editor, stored for the browser session.

This data is not sent by the extension to the developer or any remote server.

2. How permissions are used

activeTab / tabs

Identify the user-selected tab, read its source URL, and open the screenshot editor when you initiate a capture.

scripting

Inject capture code on demand for page scrolling, region selection, element detection, and screenshot stitching.

storage / unlimitedStorage

Keep language settings, the current screenshot, and recent screenshot history locally. Large full-page captures may require additional local space.

clipboardWrite

Write an edited screenshot to the system clipboard only when you choose Copy.

The extension declares no persistent host permissions for all websites. Page access occurs only after a user initiates a capture.

3. Sharing, downloads, and feedback

Downloaded images and PDFs are saved directly to your device. Copying uses the system clipboard. Sharing uses the browser or operating system share interface; a file is transferred to a third-party application only after you choose and confirm a destination, and that application’s privacy policy then applies.

The Feedback button only opens your default email client. Whether to send an email, its content, and any attachment remain under your control.

4. Retention and deletion

You can delete individual screenshot history items or clear all recent screenshots from the extension popup. Session data expires with the relevant browser session. Uninstalling the extension will normally remove its browser-managed local data.

5. Changes to this policy

If the extension materially changes its permissions or data practices, this page and the effective date above will be updated. Please review the current policy after installing a new version.
